Intern Program: Blue Haven is a premier event venue in Sioux Falls that has planned over 400 events since opening in 2016. We are looking for motivated applicants interested in executing+hospitality+marketing event aspects. We work hard at all events. We can fulfill all aspects of most internships including marketing design, sales (trade shows and open houses), scheduling, creating event timelines, meeting with customers, vendor relations, customer relations, event coordinating/management, software event management and design implementation. On event days, you can find our entire staff on the floor doing anything and everything needed to ensure a perfectly executed event including event set-up, tear-down, banquet services (serving, busing and coordination of all duties). These are paid internship opportunities with the opportunity to continue with the company after internship or reliable/motivated interns.
Requirements: Ability to work most Friday and Saturdays (days or nights). Ability to help with event set up (lifting 50#). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, social media expertise, highly organized and willing to work in a team setting and manage others as needed and assigned. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
